Are all vacancies on the "Job listings" site still available?
All listed job openings on our website are still open. However, it is possible that the application process is already in progress. Sometimes several vacant positions are advertised with the same job listing. A job listing is only removed from our site once all vacancies are filled.
How does the application process work?
If you have found a job opening with us that interests you, it is best to apply through our online application form, by e-mail or regular mail. Your contact person can be found in the respective job listing. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. Then, our Human Resources department and the respective specialty department will check your application documents. If we are convinced by your documents, we will contact you by phone or by e-mail and invite you for a job interview. Representatives of our Human Resources department and the respective specialty department usually participate in the interview.
How do I apply?
At LEWA, each job listing is supervised by a HR manager. Therefore, please address your application to the respective contact person who is named in the job listing. You can do so through our online form, by e-mail or by regular mail. The contact details are listed in the job listings.
Can I send an unsolicited application?
If you cannot find a job listing that appeals to you on our website but your individual qualifications would be enrichment for our company, send us an unsolicited application. Please enter the department or area for which you are applying in the reference line of your cover letter and – if applying by e-mail – also in the e-mail subject field. Unsolicited applications run through the very same process as applications for advertised job offerings.

Which documents have to be attached to my application?
Write a cover letter in which you explain what skills you have and why you meet the requirements for the vacant position. Enter the exact job opening title you are applying for in the subject line in the cover letter and – if applying by e-mail – also in the e-mail subject field. Also, send us complete curriculum vitae. Enclose your school leaving certificate, the education certificate, or your final university certificate. Please send us your job references, certificates of additional qualifications or other relevant certificates. If you apply for a pupil or student job, enclose your current overview of grades.

What file formats do you accept for the online application form or in the e-mail attachment of my application?
If you use our online application form or you apply by e-mail, attach cover letter, curriculum vitae and certificates each as separate PDF files. The maximum allowed file size is 10 MB each.
When should I apply?
The vacancies on our job listing site are – unless otherwise stated – to be filled immediately. Applications for vacancies are always accepted. If you apply for an apprenticeship place you should apply one year before the apprenticeship for the desired profession begins. The apprenticeship program starts in September each year. Thus, you have to submit your application until autumn of the previous year.
Can I apply again after recieving a rejection?
After a rejection, you can of course re-apply to other vacancies. Each incoming application is individually processed, evaluated and checked against the vacant position's specific requirements.
